A recent article in the Washington Post – “USDA plan to speed up poultry-processing lines could increase risk of bird abuse”. The measures have also been called into question by Humane Farm Animal Care, the organisation that recognises good welfare practices in the Certified Humane® scheme.

The idea grew out of a side project Nicalo was working on at a previous company for an organization called Certified Humane®. The goal was to build a way to direct customers to nearby places they could buy Certified Humane® foods
