Hens are very social creatures. We give them the run of our spacious cage-free barns where they can congregate in contented cackling groups. In good weather, they scratch around outside in our winter gardens. At night, they roost together on roomy perches.
Clean, well-ventilated barns are essential to maintaining our hens’ health and productivity. We continually monitor our barns for cleanliness, ventilation, temperature, lighting and waste removal.
We make sure our hens have plenty of food and water and adequate space for nesting, scratching and roosting.
