CERTIFIED HUMANE® YOGURT AND KEFIR NOW AVAILABLE
(Herndon, VA) August 25, 2010 – Humane Farm Animal Care (HFAC) announces today that yogurt and kefir produced by Green Valley Organics and raised under the Certified Humane Raised and Handled® guidelines are now available for purchase nationwide.
Green Valley Organics at Redwood Hill Farm and Creamery in Sebastapol, California makes the yogurt and kefir exclusively from 100% Grade A cow’s milk. Yogurt and kefir are similar in taste but kefir has two times the active live cultures than yogurt. Both products are lactose free.
Green Valley Organics yogurt and kefir are made without refined sugar, preservatives, artificial colors or flavorings and never contain antibiotics, added growth hormones, GMO’s or toxic pesticides. Yogurt flavors include Plain, Vanilla, Blueberry, Strawberry and Honey and Kefir is available in Traditional Plain and Blueberry Pomegranate Acai.
