Fast-casual Lime Fresh Mexican Grill opening two local outposts

Lime Fresh Mexican Grill, a fast-casual chain owned by Ruby Tuesday, Inc., will open two local stores this spring.
The first will be at U Square, 237 Calhoun St. in Clifton Heights (near the University of Cincinnati), and will open in April. A Rookwood Exchange outpost, 3831 Edwards Road in Norwood, will open in May.
The chain, which includes 20 restaurants in the eastern U.S., launched in South Beach in 2004. It serves up made-to-order, customizable nachos, flautas, salads, soups, fajitas, quesadillas, tacos and burritos. All meats are Certified Humane®, and most items can be made vegetarian. There are 50 types of hot sauces, and there’s a homemade salsa bar. Prices range from $3-10.
