Glaum Egg Ranch, a cage-free egg producer in Aptos, Calif., Santa Cruz County, is the first major California egg producer to be certified by Humane Farm Animal Care (HFAC) to use its Certified Humane Raised and Handled label.

Digging Dog Farm, a lamb and natural wool fiber producer in Richardsville, Va., Farmer’s Hen House Eggs, a cage-free egg producer in Kalona, Iowa, Steibrs Eggs, a cage-free egg producer in Yelm, Wash., and Green Pastures Products, a producer of butter oil in Page, Neb., have been approved to use Humane Farm Animal Care’s (HFAC) “Certified Humane” label.

Hidden Villa Ranch of Fullerton, Calif., has been approved to use Humane Farm Animal Care’s (HFAC) “Certified Humane” label on the cage-free and organic cage-free eggs that it produces for the Wild Oats brand. These eggs are sold in Wild Oats Natural Marketplace stores throughout the U.S.

Prather Ranch Meat Company, a retailer of organic, sustainably produced, pasture-raised beef, buffalo, pork, lamb and vitellone located at San Francisco’s Ferry Plaza, is the first retailer in the Bay Area to be “Certified Humane.”

Two graziers in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, Knee Deep Cattle Company near Coburg and Anderson Ranches of Brownsville, have been approved to use Humane Farm Animal Care’s (HFAC) “Certified Humane” label on their beef and lamb, respectively.
