Humane Farm Animal Care (HFAC) endorses the formation of an Animal Compassion Foundation by Whole Foods Markets, a national grocery retailer as “further proof that humane treatment of farm animals is an emerging consumer issue.”

Jamison Farms, supplier of fresh lamb to many of the nation’s finest restaurants, and Big Sky Ranch, a producer of natural Certified Hereford beef, are the newest companies to be approved by Humane Farm Animal Care (HFAC) to use the “Certified Humane Raised and Handled” label.

Ayrshire Farm of Upperville, Va. has become certified by Humane Farm Animal Care (HFAC) to use the “Certified Humane Raised and Handled” label for it’s beef, pork, eggs, and poultry products.

Tobin Farm of Walla Walla, Wash., has become certified by Humane Farm Animal Care (HFAC) to use the “Certified Humane Raised and Handled” label for its pasture-ranged eggs.
